The 2018 Asian Games tree made from a series of iron poles bearing the names of the 2018 Asian Games participants in Taman Puri Indah area, Kembangan Selatan, West Jakarta will continue to stand tall.

"We will maintain this tree, even though the Asian Games is over," expressed Agus Ramdani, Head of Kembangan Sub-district, Wednesday (9/5).

Precisely its existence along Jalan Puri Indah will be beautified.

"Moreover it also has historical value that Jakarta is hosting the Asian Games," he expressed.

Currently his side is planning to add Asian Paragames ornaments to the tree.

"It must be discussed along with stakeholders. Considering this is purely budgeted from people of Kembangan Selatan," he stressed.

He also invites locals in his region to treat it well.

"Hopefully they can participate to beautify the Asian Games tree thus can be enjoyed together," he closed.
